Day One: Touchdown Italy!
Morning arrivals at Florence Airport start the day and as we get you settled. Once settled, we’ll shake off the jet lag with an invigorating afternoon walking tour through the heart of Florence. Highlights include the world-famous Ponte Vecchio, the historic Piazza della Signoria, and the elegant Via Tornabuoni, along with other remarkable landmarks that showcase the city’s rich heritage.
As evening falls, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner—the perfect way to savor authentic Italian cuisine and toast the start of our journey. Afterwards, retreat to your room for a well-deserved rest. One thing is certain: Florence never disappoints.
Day Two: March 29
Start the morning immersed in Renaissance brilliance with a visit to either the Accademia Gallery or the Uffizi Museum, home to some of the world’s most celebrated masterpieces. Feeling adventurous? Conquer Florence’s most iconic landmark—the Duomo—and challenge your stamina by climbing to the very top for breathtaking views of the city.
Day Three: March 30
We’ll board a train to Pisa and settle in with lunch at a scenic restaurant boasting beautiful views. The highlight of the day awaits at the Piazza dei Miracoli, where we’ll marvel at the legendary Leaning Tower of Pisa and explore the surrounding treasures: the Battistero, the Museo Diocesano, and the revered Camposanto Monumentale. Pick-up by van in Pisa.the experience continues with a guided tour of the renowned Ca’ Lvnae Winery. We’ll savor exceptional wines during a tasting session and conclude the day with a sumptuous dinner that perfectly captures the flavors of the region.
Day Four: March 31
Our day begins with a bus ride to the coast, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey. From there, we’ll embark on a boat cruise from the enchanting towns of Lerici to Portovenere, soaking in the charm of these seaside gems while enjoying a light lunch against a backdrop of stunning coastal views. Our journey continues with a visit to the charming Montemarcello Village, a picturesque gem perched above the Ligurian coast. Stroll through its winding streets, soak in the breathtaking views, and experience the authentic character of this historic town. As evening approaches, we’ll savor a memorable dinner at Pescarino Restaurant, where traditional Ligurian cuisine takes center stage—fresh, flavorful, and deeply rooted in the region’s heritage.
Day Five: April 1st
Our journey continues by private van to Forte dei Marmi, renowned for its fashion boutiques and vibrant shopping scene. We’ll also visit Torre del Lago and the fascinating Giacomo Puccini Museum, celebrating the legacy of the famed composer. In the afternoon an unforgettable olive oil production experience awaits—ending the day with a farm-to-table dinner.
Day Six: April 2nd
Step back in time as we explore the ancient city of Sarzana, beginning with the imposing Fortress of Sarzanello and the historic Cittadella. We’ll wander through the lively weekly street market, soaking in the local atmosphere, before indulging in a unique twist—Italian-style sushi for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll check in at the Fortress of Sarzanello for a guided tour, followed by a hands-on pesto-making class. The day concludes with a memorable dinner served inside the fortress walls.
Day Seven: April 3rd
After breakfast, prepare for a full-day adventure through the breathtaking Cinque Terre. Traveling by boat and train, we’ll visit three of the region’s most enchanting towns, each offering its own blend of history, charm, and coastal beauty. This immersive excursion showcases why Cinque Terre is one of Italy’s most beloved destinations. We’ll return to our hotel in the evening and enjoy a relaxing dinner nearby.
Day Eight: April 4th
Our private van will take us on a remarkable journey to Michelangelo’s Marble Quarries, where we’ll savor a very special light lunch inside an underground cave—a truly unforgettable experience. From there, we’ll continue to the Castello di Fosdinovo, where we’ll spend the night at the storied Castle Malaspina. The evening unfolds with a castle tour, wine and appetizers, a stroll through the charming village, and finally, a magical candlelight dinner.
Day Nine: April 5th
We’ll depart from Sarzana and arrive at Genoa Principe, ready to dive into the vibrant spirit of this historic port city. Our guided tour will showcase Genoa’s most iconic landmarks, including the Colombo House, the winding Carruggi alleyways, the grand Piazza de Ferrari, the majestic St. Lorenzo Cathedral, the panoramic Castelletto, and the elegant Palazzi dei Rolli.For lunch, we’ll savor authentic flavors at a traditional Ligurian trattoria tucked within the Carruggi—an unforgettable culinary experience in the heart of Genoa.
Day Ten: April 6th
Though it’s hard to say arrivederci, we’ll make sure your final day is filled with lasting memories. After immersing yourself in Italy’s charm, culture, and cuisine, you’ll leave knowing you’ve truly conquered one of the country’s most captivating regions.
