DAY 1 – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
WELCOME TO PUGLIA
Arrival at Bari Airport or Bari Central Railway Station. Private transfer to Trani. Check-in at your boutique hotel in the historic center. Free time to relax and explore the charming harbor, the Cathedral overlooking the sea and Trani’s old town.
DAY 2 – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
BEACH DAY IN BISCEGLIE
Late morning departure for Bisceglie. Enjoy a relaxing day at a local beach club, including reserved entrance, sunbeds and umbrellas. Lunch at the beach club is included. Free time to swim, relax and enjoy the Adriatic coast. Return to Trani in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure.
DAY 3 – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
TRANI & CASTEL DEL MONTE: SEA, WINE AND MYSTERIES
Departure for Castel del Monte. Guided tour of the UNESCO-listed castle built by Emperor Frederick II. Return to Trani followed by a Moscato di Trani wine experience, including guided tasting and an introduction to local wine traditions. Free time to relax. Sunset guided tour of Trani, including the Cathedral, Jewish Quarter and Villa Comunale, followed by an aperitif. Evening at leisure.
DAY 4 – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7
BURRATA, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL & BARI AT SUNSET
Visit to a traditional dairy farm with a hands-on mozzarella and burrata-making experience, followed by tasting. Continue to a local olive oil mill for an extra virgin olive oil tasting and introduction to Apulian olive oil production. Arrival in Bari and check-in at Hotel Boston or similar. Sunset guided tour of Bari Old Town. Evening at leisure.
DAY 5 – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
ALBEROBELLO & POLIGNANO A MARE
Departure for Alberobello. Guided walk through the UNESCO-listed trulli district, discovering local traditions and meeting local artisans. Continue to Polignano a Mare. Local tasting stops including traditional focaccia and the famous Polignano coffee. Walking tour through the historic center and its panoramic sea-view terraces. Return to Bari in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
DAY 6 – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9
MATERA: THE CITY OF STONE
Departure for Matera. Guided tour of the spectacular Sassi district. Free time in Matera. Check-in at a boutique hotel located in the heart of the Sassi district. Free afternoon and evening to enjoy the magical atmosphere and sunset over the ancient stone city.
DAY 7 – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10
LECCE: BAROQUE BEAUTY & LOCAL TRADITIONS
Private transfer from Matera to Lecce. Arrival and check-in at Hotel President or similar. Guided tour of Lecce, the “Florence of the South”, discovering its Baroque churches, Roman remains, hidden courtyards and lively squares. In the afternoon, enjoy an authentic papier-mâché workshop, Evening at leisure.
DAY 8 – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
OTRANTO & GALLIPOLI: SEA, HISTORY AND SOUTHERN CHARM
Discover Italy’s easternmost town aboard a traditional Ape Calessino, exploring its historic center, Cathedral and beautiful Adriatic views. Free time before continuing to Gallipoli and free time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy another Ape Calessino experience through Gallipoli’s historic center, discovering noble palaces, Baroque churches and picturesque streets overlooking the sea. Return to Lecce with an evening at leisure.
DAY 9 – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
MONOPOLI & BARI
Private transfer from Lecce to Bari with a stop in Monopoli. Free time to discover Monopoli’s charming historic center, old harbor and picturesque streets overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Free afternoon and evening in Bari.
