Here’s a day by day breakdown!

Day 1

Touchdown Gdansk! We'll kick off our tour at the mouth of the Vistula River in the coastal town of Gdansk. Here, we'll settle in with a walking tour of the old town as we shake off that jet lag then enjoy dinner together at one of the many lovely restaurants close to our hotel so we can quickly get to that good night's sleep. We will also include a stop at the solidarity museum for those who would like to see where the fall of communism started.

Day 2

Famous for being the largest brick castle, our destination today is Malbork Castle. We'll enjoy this historic castle complex with plenty of mini museums and amazing features that bring Poland's history to life. We'll round out the day with dinner back in Old Town.

Day 3

Get ready for an amazing morning on the beach! We'll head to the seaside town of Sopot where we'll enjoy Poland's home for all things amber. After lunch, we'll start our trek south toward Warsaw. After settling in to our new hotel, we'll meet for dinner in the historical district.

Day 4

Warsaw greets us with several interesting attraction to choose from. Today, we'll break up into smaller groups depending on interests. Choices include the interactive Chopin museum and the fascinating Warsaw Uprising museum. We'll have dinner together after some late afternoon shopping time.

Day 5

We will finish up in Warsaw this morning and make our way south by train to amazing Krakow. Here, we'll kick things off with a lunchtime pierogi making class then spend the evening on a food walking tour to learn the best spots in the city.

Day 6

Krakow continues to enchant and today, we'll spend the morning at the amazing castle overlooking the river. Wawel Hill has so much to explore and we'll see how it has found its place in Poland's history over the centuries. We'll spend the rest of the day enjoying the historic old town and have dinner overlooking the main square just steps from our hotel.

Day 7

We'll venture out of the city today and make our way to the Unesco World Heritage Site, the Wieliscka Salt Mine and get a good look at medieval Poland and how salt became such an important commodity in this region. After lunch, we'll pay our respects at the Auschwitz Memorial as we tour the Nazi concentration camp. Back in town, we'll relax after a long day at one of the many beautiful cafes that dot the main square.

Day 8

We'll start our day at the Schindler Factory as we learn about the Summer of 1939 then make our way to the Kazimierz district where we'll explore the Jewish culture of Krakow. For dinner, we'll round out the day at Klezmer Huis so we can experience the amazing music and food.

Day 9

Today, we are on our way south to the Tatras Mountains where the Vistula River is replaced by many other bodies of water including the Dunajec River. Here, we'll take in the lovely scenery as we paddle in rafts down the river. Breathe a sigh of relief because the rafting course is just the right speed for any level of fitness. After, we'll enjoy a country lunch at one of the many polish chalets that dot the area. We'll enjoy dinner together back at our home base on the main square.

Day 10

On the agenda today is Krakow's Czartoryski Museum where the great masters await us. This museum holds many stories that speak to the fascinating history of Poland and we'll share them with you as we walk through this amazing palace. In the afternoon, anyone who wants to explore the many beautiful churches of the city is invited on our signature Church Crawl! We'll end the day with our farewell dinner and prepare to say farewell.
