Probably the best-kept secret in Europe, Poland offers a variety of experiences for every traveler. From lazy beach time to cosmopolitan shopping in historic city centers, Poland does not disappoint! We’ll visit castles and museums, learn and pay our respects to Poland’s historical past, and breathe in the great outdoors! Get ready, get set—Poland is waiting for you!

Day 1
Welcome to amazing Kraków. Here, we’ll kick things off with an evening on a food walking tour to learn the best spots in the city. It will also be a great way to learn how to order off the local menus.

Day 2
Kraków continues to enchant, and today, we’ll spend the morning at the amazing castle overlooking the river. Wawel Hill has so much to explore, and we’ll see how it has found its place in Poland’s history over the centuries. We’ll spend the rest of the day enjoying the historic old town and have dinner overlooking the main square just steps from our hotel.

Day 3
We’ll venture out of the city today and make our way to pay our respects at the Auschwitz Memorial as we tour the Nazi concentration camp. Back in town, we’ll relax after a long day at one of the many beautiful cafes that dot the main square.

Day 4
We’ll start our day at the Schindler Factory as we learn about the Summer of 1939 then make our way to the Kazimierz district where we’ll explore the Jewish culture of Krakow. For dinner, we’ll round out the day at Klezmer Huis so we can experience the amazing music and food.

Day 5
Today, we are on our way south to the Tatras Mountains where the magical Zakopane. This storybook winter wonderland is one of the best-kept secrets in the mountains, where the fresh, crisp air ensures that you will fall in love with this little corner of the world. Time permitting, we’ll check in for a little luxury at the local hot springs spa, then enjoy a late lunch of regional favorites. If we’re lucky, we’ll run into a little music and dancing along the way.

Day 6
Today’s agenda includes visiting Kraków’s Czartoryski Museum, where the great masters await us. This museum holds many stories about Poland’s fascinating history, and we’ll share them with you as we walk through this amazing palace. Then, we’ll head to lunch via our pierogi-making class. We’ll end the day with dinner and prepare to say farewell to Kraków.

Day 7
It’s time to depart magical Krakow! We hope you’ve enjoyed this experience as much as we have!
Rainy Day Plan: Visit the Wieliscka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to get a good look at medieval Poland and how salt became such an important commodity in this region.
